‘Dilbert’ on display

In 1989, creator Scott Adams launched his satirical workplace comic strip, Dilbert. Its genesis can be traced to Adams’ office at the Pacific Bell Telephone Company in San Ramon, California. Today, this building is part of Bishop Ranch, a 1.8 million-square-foot campus owned by Sunset Development Company.

Dilbert has come full circle and returned to its place of origin. Permissions Manager Raegan Carmona worked with Bishop Ranch to install a 60-cartoon Dilbert exhibit in a 90-foot-long passageway.

Spotlight: Wallace the Brave

With 4.8 million daily readers, Wallace the Brave centers around a bold and adventurous boy named Wallace and his family and friends. Hearkening back to the feeling of simpler, pre-tech days, Wallace embarks upon adventures in his wilderness, whether in the neighboring seaside hills or on the roof of his house. Launched in 2018, this feature won the National Cartoonists Society’s Best Newspaper Comic Strip and has sold thousands of books!
