Bikinis and bravery

Nicole Byer has a lot on her résumé, including comedian, podcaster, and actress (Netflix’s “Nailed It!” and MTV’s “Girl Code” to name a few). Now, in her new book #VERYFAT #VERYBRAVE, Byer unpacks the bizarre notion that it takes courage to be a fat woman. With an abundance of charm and humor, Byer takes readers on a journey of shameless self-love, reflecting on her own path to #bravery, sharing tips and tricks to help others embrace their bodies as they are, and showcasing her impressive swimwear collection.

Byer postponed an Instagram Live event, scheduled for June 2, to support #BlackOutTuesday, but sold more than 760 pre-ordered, signed copies. The book is on sale now wherever books are sold but is already out of stock in numerous places of purchase.

Byer has appeared on numerous media outlets, including “The Talk,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “Conan,” “The Wendy Williams Show,” Forbes, and USA TODAY, to promote her message of body confidence, share her hopeful takeaway for readers, and discuss anti-racism.

Colorful and bold, #VERYFAT #VERYBRAVE is unapologetic in its assertion that, yes, anyone can (and, let’s be honest, should) rock a bikini.
